In 1978, D. Juan Sastre saw great evolution possibilities in the traditional balearic ''llaut'', the famous ''menorquina'', founding Astilleros Menorca that, later on, changed into Menorquin Yachts.

Keeping the traditional values and the incomparable personality of these traditional boats, this shipyard has created a new generation of comfortable and safe motor cruisers of classic style but with the advantages of the latest technologies.

Easy to steer and safely fast, Menorquin Yachts's models are renowned for their sea qualities and for their great habitability and comfort, both on deck and in the cabin.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary the shipyard is opening new production unit of 14.000 m2 (152.460 sq.ft.) in an over all area of 30.000 m2 (326.700 sq.ft.), of which 21.000 m2 (22.870sq.ft.) more will be covered in the near future. These new installations will allow to satisfy the increasing demand of the Menorquin Yachts's delegations all over the world: Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the United States or America.
