The Atlantis brand was created in 2001 following the acquisition of Gobbi S.p.A by the Azimut-Benetti Group.

The beginning of a new age, uniting the productive efficiency of the Gobbi Boatyards with the strategic vision of the Azimut Group, indisputable long-term leaders in the nautical sector.

The boatyard, with its own wealth of professionalism and technology, responded with commitment and readiness to the challenges of its new owners.
Only a few months after the acquisition, the Atlantis line already had two new models: the Atlantis 42 and the Atlantis 47, both in production alongside other previously designed Gobbi boats.
Atlantis yachts have expressed, right from their debut, their own canons of style and design within the Azimut-Benetti Group: a style that is universally esteemed.
In January 2004, at the Dusseldorf International Boat Show, Atlantis presented the flagship of the range: the Atlantis 55. A concentration of passion, design and avant-garde technology - the very finest of the Gobbi and Atlantis luxury yachts.
Production of the Atlantis 55 determined Gobbi’s exceptional growth as a luxury yacht manufacturer with a trend that peaked at levels exceeding those registered in the entire nautical industry. During the last four years Gobbi has seen sales increase by 160% and the number of employees by 120% while the grounds where the boatyard is located are constantly under technological and productive development (growth exceeding 13,000mq in the period 2001/2006).
Today Atlantis is regarded as a solid and mature company on the market with an international presence in rapid expansion and a range covering a strategic sector of the nautical market.
